It weighed about 1 13 pounds and measured just under 4 inches long over 2 inches wide and more than 25 inches high. The crown contains 2868 diamonds including the famous cushion cut 3174 carat Cullinan II diamond also known as the Second Star of Africa the second largest stone cut from the Cullinan Diamond. Some of the diamonds including Cullinan II were added into the Imperial State Crown Credit. Its original weight was ascertained at 310675 carats.
