The Black Diamond Jet Team L39. As the headline act for over 20 show sites and with more than 65 performances per year the Black Diamond Jet Team delivers 30 minutes of thrilling air show excitement. The team delivered displays consisting of a main formation of usually four sometimes five L-39 basic jet trainers joined by a single MiG-17 fighter or T-33 jet trainer as the solo flown by Captain Dale Snort Snodgrass USN ret. Previously known as the Heavy Metal Jet Team the civilian-owned formation team was named the Black Diamond Jet Team for its 2012 season.
